My name is Valerie - AKA Aries - married to Tony, and at the present time living in rural seclusion in deepest Devon.
I'm fortunate to have two wonderful children and six grandchildren, three boys and three girls, of whom I am very proud.
I enjoy life very much having been self employed alongside my husband Tony (an editorial and advertising photographer) doing various jobs including styling food for photography and commercials both in this country and on the Continent but based in London.
At one time we owned a sheep farm in North Devon and also let out holiday cottages. Now blissfully retired.
My hobbies are:
1. Playing ....erm ... Working on my computer which is my window on the world. I especially love exchanging ideas and thoughts with online friends
2. Meeting people
3. Watching test cricket and tennis on the television
4. Eating out when I get the chance
5. Cooking
6. Writing poetry
7. Growing veggies
8. Keeping hens.
I also enjoy reading when I have the time, and not averse to doing the odd spot of knitting.
